Unfortunately, this isn’t my Aunt Charlotte with the amazing pecan pie recipe, it is Allison Picou’s aunt. With a recipe this good, I am betting she was a very special woman!

By the Lord Shane to share with thee the yumminess that is my great Aunt Charlotte’s Pecan Pie Recipe!
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup of melted margarine
2/3 cup of sugar
1 tsp of vanilla
1 cup of Karo (not sure if this is nationwide but it is the brand of corn syrup down here. If you can’t find it up there any corn syrup will do.)
1 cup of pecans (coarsely chopped or left whole, whichever you guys prefer)
Stir by hand well. Pour into unbaked pie crust. Bake at 375 for 45 mins.
